Laurel Creek is a very special place, this 3 bedroom/ 3 bath log cabin has so many things to do, that you will never want to leave. As you arrive, the first thing you will notice is the sound of the creek, inviting you to discover cool and soothing places. At night, you can open the screened doors and fall asleep to the cool mountain breeze, and the sound of the creek below the cabin.
There is a bedroom with a king-sized bed, living area, full bathroom and covered porch on all three levels of this cabin. The main living room with a wood burning fireplace, the dining room and the full kitchen are on the main level with a very large porch wrapping around two sides of the cabin. The back porch is covered, so you can grill and relax outside regardless what the weather is.
Upstairs, is the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, living area, full bathroom and a private porch where you can rock and listen to the sounds of the birds, and of course the creek.
NFL TICKET! Watch your favorite NFL Teams this year from Laurel Creek! You may just have to stay Sunday night and head back home on Monday so you can get your fill of football this year!
Downstairs is the game room, with a wet bar, pool table, television and electronic darts. If you feel like exercising, use the Soloflex in the exercise room, and after your workout, jump in the spa, just outside the door to sooth your body and mind. There is also a bedroom with a king-sized bed and full bath on this level.
Outside, there is the horseshoe pit for a winner take all competition with your friends and family. The numerous trails will lead you through the flowering Mountain Laurel and Rhododendrons in the Springtime, calling you to find the inviting sounds of the creek. Once you find the creek, you will lose all sense of time, as you sit on the numerous benches and picnic table along the water's edge and enjoy all of the sights and sounds which surround you.
If you discover the creek first upon arriving at Laurel Creek, you may never get to do everything else there is to do here, and you may not care to venture out and discover the rest of what the Blue Ridge area has to offer.
