This is the best cabin to kayak, tube and canoe or just enjoy watching others. The Cartecay Canoe House is located on the beautiful Cartecay River in Ellijay.
Just below Cartecay Canoe House is a takout area and a pay phone, where you can call a local Kayak Outfitter, and they will pick you and your kayaks up, and take you back upstream so you can kayak back downstream to the cabin. They will provide this service to you at no charge, but they will gladly accept donations!
This cabin was completely renovated in 2005 and has all new appliances and furniture. With its 6 person hot tub and dock with picnic table overlooking the river, you will be able to relax with your family and friends.
With 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, this cabin can sleep up to 8 people. High Speed Wireless Internet Access! The living area has 11 floor to ceiling windows looking out to the river and surrounding area. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 large screen TV's, gas grill, board games, four kayaks and four float tubes to enjoy the river.
